Hot Rods Y’all missed it this weekend

The Tweety Roadster made its first p*** down a track in over 60 years! Jim was behind the wheel and by the end of the day I believe he made 4 p***es.

I lost track of that thread. Glad to see it finally got done and back on the road!

 

Small turnout but alot of good racing went down !

I was wondering why that happened.... it has been promoted since january. It did have a rain date and it wasnt a holiday weekend. Seems to not be many "tradiational" hot rods left on the Austin or surrounding area that actually drive and race their cars anymore.

 

This car will make it to the HAMB Drags, right?

 

I dunno.. . they are headed to Pebble Beach next Must

 

@moter I made some comments about the small turnout and the folks I was with seemed to think it was a lack of promotion. Im not on Facebook but the ones who are had not heard about it until I told them. I might have missed it but I didn't see anything about it here on the HAMB either. I just happened to catch a post on IG a freind shared promoting the race.
