I ordered and paid for a set of headers from Dave Havlir back in March. After 3 months went by, I wanted to check in on the progress. I have left voicemails, email and Hamb chats with no reply. I am starting to get a little nervous.

I know he is a one man operation and is very busy (that's why I didn't bother him for 3 months). Prior to ordering, I read up on him on the Hamb. There were a few negative comments regarding his poor communication skills and lengthy build time. However, I also read many more positive reviews regarding his quality of work and him being a stand up guy. So, it was a no brainer for me....go with the dude.

My intention here is not to speak negatively about Dave and his business. I am also good with waiting for quality parts/work. I would just like some communication and re***urance through the process.

Does anyone have any info. on him? Has anyone else experienced this problem recently?

    Thanks all!

Haven't talked to him in a while, his shop is about 20 min from my house. I can say his headers are like jewelry. Unbelievably high quality.

He used to post on social media quite often, so I checked Instagram and Facebook. Hasn't posted on FB since February and IG back in November. I hope everything is ok.

Just an update: I have still been unable to get ahold of Dave. After speaking with some through PM, it appears he has closed up shop and fallen off the face of the Earth. That's unfortunate to say the least.

    Just an update,

I was able to speak to Dave with the help of fellow Hamb members and have since received the headers. As mentioned on other threads, Dave has had some pretty tough times of late, which resulted in his difficulty communicating.
