Technical holly red electric fuel pumps

    thinking about useing a holly red electric fuel pump on my 79 chevy c10 with a 350 i just bought the truck i live in arizona gets pretty hot here and I'm having vapor lock problems with the mechanical fuel pump that's on it was told to go electric would probley solve my problem any info i could get would be great thanks.

    It will certainly help. You also need to look at the fuel line routing and make sure its got plenty of air space or gap from hot components. Such as from the mechanical pump up past the head area. Run it out away from the engine as much as possible then a turn straight into the carb inlet. Like up on the fenderwheel then make a turn toward the carb. This will help w heatsoak while sitting in traffic etc
