1952-59 Ford Identify this trim?

Believe it or not this was bolted to the trunk of my 56 Crown I picked up last year. Can anyone identify what it belongs to? It has 1957 in the middle.

 

Maybe a Chrysler ?

 

I thought so too but couldn't find anything with google yet.

The wire wheel center cap in a Buick had the same three color logo.
