God! I have loved that car ever since I saw it in the 50s mags, and on 77 sunset strip. I thought the dup of the kookie car was the nuts. I cant wait to see this one. GO VON FRANCO Oh! the video clip was oh so cool.

Cool, I love that car, even more than the kookie car. BTW, isn't it LIGHTENING or maybe LIGHTNING bug?

  22. I have watched about 18 episodes of 77 Sunset Strip and still no sign of the car.It must have been in a few to be known as the "Kookie Car"!

Yes they are the original and I was holding my breath when we were trying to get the pipes right at the flange after someone damaged them but all was well and came out right you have to understand this is a car built around the original headers. This is history in the making and Franco is a very dedicated man and without his close friend a fabricator by the name of Dan Sigl this project would never have happened.

Unreal. The Kookie T just defines hot rod, cool to see it in earlier form.

Franco, Oh man. I still can be schlep boy for some last minute stuff. Locked up in the garage indeed, but still found the time to help me out.

  30. Great clip Evel!
I have always liked the original build better, the October '55 Hot Rod was the first vintage Hot Rod mag I bought.
    Can't wait for the DVD.
    Cheers
