Norman!........(@normanpitkin), your location says ‘London’.......is that the famous city in Great Britain or one of the lesser namesakes here in the Colonies? Reason I ask, if the hub caps are likely of European origin it may take longer than the customary 15 minutes to get a correct response. Oops....I see by the post time, that already has been well exceeded. Ray
I’m in London but these caps are coming from the good old USA Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Some dimensions might be helpful.....hard to tell their scale with no reference.....also, a photo of reverse side to indicate mounting type....i.e. wheel clips or inner/outer wheel center ‘bumps’. Beautiful caps
That’s a good thought.......I did think they resembled Packard caps, but for the emblem, but I am sure there are other possibilities (regarding make of car), but the repro idea is sound. Ray
I was reminded of Packard as well. I bet that is what they are, aftermarket Packard caps. I have a set for 1949 Chevrolet's, they have a dash in the center rather than a bow tie.
Packard caps generally have a red hexagon in the middle, not a fancy logo like these. Not likely they're packard, is my guess.
now we know what they fit. I'm going to go with "aftermarket" also. Maybe I'm wrong, if so I'd sure like to see what they came from!
Alternative date order......common in Europe and US Military........09 June (06) 2019. Actually makes sense in ascending order of time increments.
