Help me find a front shock relocating kit....

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by A32Flathead, Jun 13, 2006.

  1. Have a friend in the UK with a 48 Plymouth who has been recommended to fit a front shock relocating kit to his car.... Its aparrently availiable from a company called "Mr Street Rod" (sorry, I said street rod), however...www.mrstreetrod.com isn't working anymore...and there's no contact info...

Anyone got a number or address maybe? Or know if they are still in business? Or have a similar thing to use?

    Thanks in advance....

have you tried calling fatmanfab? Rod and custom did an article on a 51 plymouth wagon where they installed a shock relocating kit, because for some reason the shock is connected to both the top and bottom control arms.

Try Ply-Do (304) 475-3245 Page 9 of their catalog shows a shock kit with shocks for 1939-1952 Mopars. SK-110 $129.00. I have a shock relocation set up on a '49 Plymouth. It came either from Ply-Do or Fat Man Fabrications as part of a Rack & Pinion steering kit. I got the stuff in a package deal from the previous owner and am not sure which company he bought it from. Hope this helps.
