I bought a pair of old Cragars from a fellow Hamber, they were well worth the price and look great on my car. I was considering on having them replated next winter and was wondering if any of you ever had wheels rechromed if so where and how much $?

    Thanks, Duke

I had my original steel wheels chromed, cause I had no choice. It was not cheap. It cost me $350 (Canadian $) per wheel.

The chromers will charge you MORE because they were previously chromed than if you brought them bare steel wheels.

And if you're talking about Cragar SS's, you could probably buy a pair of new wheels for each old one you'd have rechromed.
