Reminds me of the many times when we were kids traveling in the 50's. Short stops for Bologna or PB&J, chips and ice water from the Coleman jug so we could keep on the road. In the evening we usually got supper at a diner before we found a place to stay. Later on we got a camper and the meals and lodging were taken care of. Good times

 

Still, one of the best designs I ever did, the wright R-3350, I have this cylinder on my desk, brand new, never been flown!

 

Thank you very much, and I did get to see the real Mosquito fly at Oshkosh in 2015 !
