1952-59 Ford Radiator Location/Clearance

    Anyone move the radiator to the front of the U-shaped support? Extra 1" clearance - just don't know if any problem with the hood...and don't have it on to check....
     
  2. I did, no problems with hood clearance but it will depend on how tall the radiator itself is. I would measure mine for you but my car is half dis***embled. It sticks out above 2-3" at least though.

    Perfect, thanks. Aluminum - but built to replicate the stock one so should be fine. Thanks for your help!

    The Ranch Wagon was originally powered with the Ivory six so when I installed the 302 I needed a little more room to be able to use the 17" steel mechanical fan, I turned the radiator cradle around and mounted the Walker radiator the few inches forward that the modification allowed. HRP
