I know it's been beaten to death here, but...i just ordered some more panels from Howells, in Texas. I have ordered many panels from these guys, & honestly, I've never had a problem. I ordered on Monday afternoon, ups tracking says Friday, to my work. It showed up a day early, & everything looks good. I've seen the same panels on Ebay, for less, & I'm sure the quality is ****, but, I've always been able to make anything i get from Howells work just fine. Maybe I'm livin' right, & always get the goods from them
abonecollector, did you order direct from Howell's or through an eBay store? I'm thinking about ordering '28 cowl panels and was recently told it's better to buy through eBay than to order direct. It seems the suppliers want to protect their eBay seller's status so they fill orders quicker. Sounded reasonable to me, I find that true of most other sellers.
My Dad recently bought 32 patch panels from Howells via Ebay, and the shipping was quick. They look nice too. Buying through Ebay seems to be the key.
I bought them right out of howells. I know they have an Ebay sight as well, it was just quicker to get the panels, & a few other items off their website, rather than scrolling different suppliers on Ebay to fill my "cart"
Howell’s have so far shafted me. I should’ve researched before placing an order. I’ve been searching for 42-47 ford pickup patch panels, such as cab corners and front mounts after northern cl***ics stopped making the parts. I seen Howell’s had the parts and placed a $1500 order. Several emails, phone calls and 3 months later I’ve got nothing. Makes life hard when your in the other side of the world. I even paid for the freight to New Zealand. Update, it did take 3 months but I received everything as ordered. Good looking parts, pretty slack on the delivery. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
