Got a shingles shot Wednesday. Still hurts today.
Don’t let my manly muscles scare ya now.

 

Man, I've had the shingles and I can assure you the after effect of the shot pale in comparison to the misery and pain of the shingles. HRP

 

I totally agree with you on the discomfort of an attack of shingles.
Everyone should look into getting the shot.
I met a girl 2 years ago, she’s 31 years old, and she’s had it 3 times.
It’s long lasting , burning, itching and hardly anything can relive the pain.
I’ve torn parts of my body in the past, broken bones, lots of burns, lots of nasty scars.
The shingles beats them all on the pain level. I got it bad, real bad, 3 years ago and didn’t act on it fast enough.
Parts of my body felt like someone poured fire ants all over me then lit me on fire while banging me with a fry pan.
Get you shingles shot people. It’s not to be ignored.
A new serum just came out. It’s a two part deal.
Have your doctor or pharmacy put you on the list, please.

As one who has also suffered from it, I say "AMEN brother". One in three people will get it in their lifetime according to some medical articles I read.

 

This is one of those times that we will not need pictures, thank you!

And believe it or not there is photographic evidence but I wouldn't share them, they are pretty scary, just get the shot if you haven't.

I have a doctors appointment Thursday and I will find out how often you need a booster, I wouldn't wish the pain on anyone. HRP

 

Hero shot my wife took for a picture book she made for the Roadster Show display.

 

Just got my shingles shot last month. Doctor said to come back for the booster in 2 - 6 months. Should be good for life after that (i'm 62).

I haven't had the measles..... Mom sez she don't remember.... And I can't recall ever having them....

 

.............I think it's Chicken Pox, not Measles....Get the shots one way or other, whether you had it or not. Dr. told me that the new immunizations (2 shots) are much better than the previous one, but you can still get an outbreak, but it should be much milder with the immunizations.

Either way... I ain't had none of those....
