Any features on this wild 40 coupe? Is it Halibrands or Real Rodders Wheel on it or any other manufactur? Thanks! //Roger.
I'm thinking if the rears ar 15 x 10 then they are Real Rodders Wheels as they have a step in them whereas the Halibrands have a smooth continuous radius
The car is from Maryland............a few years ago street rodder did an article on it.........not sure month or year
meade baldwin's 40 standard.. hot rod garage built.. denton md.. lots of photos here http://www.thehotrodgarage.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=136 I believe the bottom of the front clip was moved up (grille shortened fenders etc..) to achieve the look. I am not much for standards.. but this one i like..
Pretty sure that '40 was built at the Hot Rod Garage in Denton, Maryland. Think it belongs to either Bill or Meade Baldwin. May have been featured in a past issue of The Rodders Journal...Don.
Here's a 15 x 10 Halibrand - note that it does not have a step in the rear wheel - unlike the '40 Ford coupe wheel.
