...the only reason I'm playing is cause this body WAS found in a creek on its roof, drivers side down. What looks like bondo is actually some kind of all-metal. This, and the brown primer, was all that was holding the metal together. Had to find original steel to repair with. Basically the entire drivers side was toast...but look at her now...amazing what 5 pounds of $100 dollar bills will accomplish...  ...before-Feb '05...after-Feb '06...

Wish I would have taken a picture of the start mine. It was in the middle of Kansas City being used as a planter in someone's front yard.

Well, I sorta found this one in a barn, 20 years after it sat in a field and then 22 more years in the barn. Unfortunately, I was the guilty party that put it in both places.
Sorry, but I did the same thing to my 41 Chevy coupe and a 56 Chevy Hardtop. Marriage and children change priorities. :(

I bought this a few years back from a guy who thought it would be to hard to save.
It was in his "shop" in a REAL small town about 3 hours south of me.
I didn't ask him where it came from, but i'd bet it was some field or something similar..
Next year HOPEFULLY this will be on the road.

Here's the best part. The guy contacted a company who made gl*** body's to buy one, and they offered him 3000 for this one on 'trade' for one of thiers..they said they wanted to use this as a mold..ummm, prolly not :)..
so i paid what they offered...

Once in a lifetime thing for me..

This one will be left to my next of kin when i croak :D:D

I'll have to find a pic of it when we brought it home but the 28 my father and uncle built was found out in a swamp. This particular swamp was behind a model A restoration shop. the shop through the body back there 17 years before my uncle found it and we brought it back to life.

You might remember this '34 from last February. It last saw the road in '58.
It now lives in the San Francisco area...
