I have a question about the hood cowl juncture on a 1924(ish) Willy’s. I think I need a hood to make the proportions look right, but I don’t know if I’m missing a piece. Does the hood sit on welting? There are holes for attaching welting at the front edge of the cowl, but if the hood sits on the welting it will interrupt the flow. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
As soon as I figure out how to add a picture I will. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I would say if it has holes add the welting. I don't think you will be racing that at Daytona, so flow isn't going to come to play. As far as body lines they were not perfect back then.
Add a flange to the firewall so your hood sits flush with the cowl, perhaps? Then fill the holes for the welting.
