Has anyone cut the coil springs to lower the front suspension on a stock front end. If so, how many coils cut to lower 3 inches? Thanks

1 coil is good for 2'' on some cars, 3'' on others. We just whack 2 coils & trim the bump stops …

  3. I prefer to sneak up on it...on some cars, I've cut a 1/2 coil at a time until it sat where I wanted it.

Cut one full coil and drive it for a while. You may want to stop at one, if not you can always cut more.
