I had posted on the board about a year ago for help fixing all the issues with this car..Everything from extreme pinion angle to rebuilding the F100 steering box...It's finally finished and with a fresh coat of paint..I have been able to drive and enjoy it over the last month or so..It's been a long road to repair an as advertised " Turn key" car ...Wanted to share a few pics...Thank You again to all the members you either posted of messaged me in private for all the help...Eric

I had an Offy with 4X2 when I first got it..It had serious driveability issues with that set up...Perhaps someday I will get a Man-A-Fre...

Everyone baggs on the car (original and otherwise) but without that car and that movie, and this site, many of us would be plugging along in OT vehicles.
I like your interpretation! Good work!

    Is that a field car?????????;)

  14. It looks like the most fairly rapid car in the valley.
I like it. I hope it's all you have been wishing for and more.

Sports stars didn't impress me as a kid. Milner was the dude I wanted to be. With a chick like Falfa's. "Ain't he neat?"

""Hey, I like the color of your car there, man. What's that supposed to be? Sorta a cross between Piss Yellow and Puke Green, ain't it?"":)

Better looking than most of them I've seen. My question is when are you guys going to have the Milner Clone Nationals. There must be enough of those to have a 3-400 car event by them selves

Nice job! There's one in this neck of the woods. Again, that car/movie is probably why most of us on on the HAMB. But be careful, make sure you check ID/age of anyone you pick up in case you might want to "cop a feel"!

That car is better than Darryl Starbirds Superfleck Moonbird!
Definitely the car that changed the life direction of this 14 year old!
Oh, and dish out the $ for the Man-a-Fre, you’ll like it!

Man, at first i thought, another "clone", except, with disc brakes, radial tires, offy three two intake, & cheapy aluminum valve covers. But, nope, this one is dead on! Cool looking tribute.

Thanks Again...Other than I removed the un-safe parallel rear traction bars/control arms and replaced them with a P&J style ladder bar system...and also 3x2 instead of 4. (The 4X2 manifold that was on the car when I purchased it (Offy)had been repaired and the homemade non progressive linkage caused major low speed driving issues..Especially when going to my home which is a one lane mile long county road full of craters and not to mention local traffic with no regards to who is around the next blind turn...It was very difficult to drive) ...It's a decent representation....I know the car is not everyone's cup of tea...I mainly wanted to say Thanks for the past advice on several things...This is my first coupe...Always wanted one..And yes Milner was my hero....Even though I previously owned 4 1955 Chevrolets before this car

    You're welcome.
    LOL
I never helped you at all.
    But the coupe looks great.
    Even the tires look right.
    Excellent job.
    Rip it up. Have fun.
    Be fast... but not "stupid".
