Finally got to see it tonight and it was one of the most amazing movies i have ever seen. Also very inspirational to young bucks such as myself. The movie took so many things from the documenatary and told the story so well. Amazing movie

  4. So....I watched it last night.....twice.....and the original documentary....Worth the price of the DVD alone.... I'm surprised just how much Sir Anthony Hopkins sounded & acted like Burt...

I got the "last copy" at my Taget as well. I figured it since it was on sale they had to order at least one and that was the only copy they probably got!

  9. I got my copy at Best Buy
It wasn't in the New Releases or on the shelf. It was in one of those islands in the middle of an aisle.
    It was labeled as $22.99
When it was rung up, it cost me $18 & change.
    OK.
I agree about the documentary being worth the purchase price.
Burt just seemed like a really cool guy.

Preordered mine from Amazon weeks ago. Got it yesterday. It loses something from the big screen version but I've already watched it three times. Great movie, a gearhead classic.

Hey whodaky, cool stuff, thanks for the explanation. I wish I could do pinstripping but, I can barely write my name.

Rckt98, sorry man, I'm not a big movie person and I don't watch TV that much. I work 8-5 at my job and 7-10 at my shop on the A. I probably wouldn't be interested in anything that I didn't hear about on the HAMB anyway.

OH, last night I stopped by a used book store and found a like new "American Graffiti" video in excellent shape. I hadn't seen that movie in twenty years or so and forgot how many cool cars(and movie stars)are in that movie. I also found a movie called "The fast and the furious" -HOLD ON- It was made in 1954. Whew! I thought I'd tell my teenage son I bought it and put it in the machine. Can't wait to see the look on his face!:D
