One of the most beautiful early style custom in Salina. Another one was David Wolk's 50 Merc. Notice, same tail lights.

From the Louisville show this past weekend.

 

1956 Thunderbird, Severely lowered Suspension (No Bags). The head light have been dropped approx 1 1/2" & uses XJ6 Jaguar Headlight rings gravel pan gas been trimmed & oxy welded in, The grill opening has been peaked (stock are flat & use a S/S trim) The taillights have been extended 1 3/4" and also use XJ6 Jaguar head light rings (5 3/4") as the taillight surrounds with cut down '57 Ford Taillight lenses. the fins have been bull nosed. The plan is to run a Hilborn injected Y-Block.

 

Because of the unique stacked-port configuration, the Hilborn FI Y-Block looks like no other, and is a real Show-stopper!
