Well while I don’t post often I wanted to share as some of you may remember my race car I started 15 years ago. In the last year I got back on it and in the last four monthsi thrashed hard to get it to Bonneville this year. I did it! Whilst my brain is still recuperating I knew there was a handful of things I needed to do on the salt before tech inspection but as we rolled into town a big storm had rolled thru and left the salt wet as can be. Racing delayed I too delayed myself to stop and enjoy the car being on the salt for the first time and a long awaited relief came over me. With speed week delayed for days I was in no hurry to do much. Turns out it was time to get my guys home and we left for home on Monday afternoon. I have zero regrets about not going thru tech or not running my car. I made it to the salt and my car has hopefully a long life and future of racing ahead. I am truly thankful Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I remember that car sitting in your yard in Burbank when Eddie and I visited you with Piero in 2015. It did look very forlorn and unloved at the timeLOL Looks a million dollars now sitting there on the salt. Congratulations Lucky.
Looks really great on the salt! I saw it once in person when you were still at Old Crow in probably 2011? It had a long way to go, haha! Congrats on getting it to Bonneville! Please post a video of it running when you have a chance?
Lucky, You did a fantastic build there!!!!! Congrats on getting it built and there. That’s a damn fine looking car!!!!
