  2. Wow!! Those are some seriously finned wheels. I respect whoever thought them up and made them but they also scare me a bit. I can see them on the right custom that's been shaved down to a basic jellybean and needs the unique twist of these wheels. I trust somebody will do them justice. So different!?!

No, that's something you hang on a garage wall and just talk about. Cool, but kind of hard to look at in the context of an actual car. Also... cleaning.

Here's a VC cast by Tom Lowe. It's got clearance for roller setup. I had him machine back some of the fins to allow filler and PCV to sit flush. Those were made to spec for me by @****ster27.

  16. I've been wanting to post this...... but I had to wait for a garage cleanup to find it first. :p
It's on the way to the sandblaster to even out the filing and sanding of the mold lines. It'll be a tachometer pod; the flange mount is for the dash top mounting. There's a threaded ball and br*** thumbscrew to tilt or angle it. Optionally, the clamp is for column mount. How it gets mounted depends on how the rest of the dash comes together.
It had a standard bulb socket inside when I got it. I was told it was originally an outside light fixture on a vintage trailer or motorhome. I think it's got just the right look for my '50 Chevy truck.

This is an original 292 Chevy 6 thermostat housing. Had all the wrong holes in all the wrong places. And, the wrong angle to the radiator.
