1952-59 Ford Dagel's 59

  1. Haven't posted in awail been working on the truck.the 59 has made it back to the lift.
    Were working-cl*** on their paint.

    Quarters door jams. Tail pannels and roof are shot started sanding roof to buff.

  5. The darker / light green is what I decided to go with for the light green. The others was to neon looking.
    The firewall back is the final twotone colors I am using.

    Was going with the lighter but decided to darken it some to bright for me

    Re shot the trunk and got the package tray also. Sure is nice to look in a trunk of a 60 year old car. Lots of work to get there. But worth the work .

    Had a hard time deciding where to cut the paint. Straight down across the deck lid or my final choice just bellow deck lid.

    Another area of desisitions was where to cut the paint on the a piller

    B piller was easier to decide.

    Working on the light green so I can put the NOS peak trim on that I found a few years ago.
    Been buying NOS trim for 8 years before I even had the car.

    I have all the upper trim for the fender and door again NOS but the washboard. Pc

    I see the birds on eBay fairly often. Mine are good driver-quality pieces and I have no extras. I have everything for my car and all the clips (I hope...). I have some duplicates and will cherry-pick the best pieces, will probably sell the rest.
     
  10. im a hoarder the left over part will be saved for the next one lol. I have see them on ebay and guise I will have to pay the price generally $80 for 2 birds but always hope I find some new one cheaper still have a few moths to locate them

  12. Thanks it's been 2 years on and off now I just want it back together and driveable. I will go back and fix stuff that does not turn out right later.
