Bob you can follow him if you mount some tires on the grill of your car!:D

I saw the car in the beginning and it looks great. Larry you gotta admit these deadline late night builds are fun....well when they are done. Just another story to tell.

Could you send me some close up pics of the cover? Are you interested in selling one of the castings?

    Larry,
Here is what I remember from a few years when Mike was on the hunt for a Deuce body. He'd always buy these "Deals On Wheels" mags and in there was a traditonal styled 30/31 high boy roadster. When he called on it I beileve that it was already sold, so he asks the seller if he knows of any other perhaps 32 roadsters out there, I may be mistaken, but I believe it was in Texas:confused: So the seller says that he has a buddy that has a roadster project that he is gonna do up but it needs alot of work. Mike has the guy talk to his buddy & sure enough he has it & may be willing to sell it. Don't qoute me on this, but it may have been like $5800.00:confused: The owner now sends Mike the pics & we meet for coffee & we discuss the possibilities for it.
He did the deal The body was sent to his brothers machine shop in So.Gate CA. off Imperial hwy:confused: It sat there for several months as he began to gather parts. Mike was an eBay fantatic and when Clarks rpu came up he had a copy of mag it was in and was all hot to have it. A deal was struck between the 2 for cash & the body for the rpu. we put the body in a crate screwed it all down & shipped it off to Clark.
He eventually stepped up & bought a $24k basket case from Canada & it came with like 12-15k worth of extra parts, I know because I have had to use an nos water pump that came in the parts on my 32 roadster.
If I talk to Mike soon, I will seek additional info you.
