This is the kit I went with on my 41 Tudor. It fits the 1/2 ton also. What is nice about this is it keeps the stock 5 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern and all the parts are off the shelf. It uses early F150 rotors, GM calipers and pads. And the bearings and seals are easy to get too.
The only thing bad about this kit is you can't use it with the bolt on steering arms. So if you have a dropped axle, you will have to use stock spindles with the arm bent to clear.

you can buy just the adapter brackets from speedway and they tell you which vehicles the rotors and calipers come from. All common parts that you can get from any auto parts store.

You can sometimes find the kits in the Speedway "garage sale" pretty cheap cuz they're returned and may be missing a bolt or 2.

  9. Some times the kit is cheaper in the long run. By the time you get all the little parts and run around searching junkyards for parts it adds up to more. Plus the junkyard parts will need to be rebuilt and the kits have all new or rebuilt parts.

Master cylinder will depend on what brakes will be used. The steering box is completely rebuildable. I rebuilt mine using parts from Mac's.

Yes, you'll have to cut through the column, leaving shaft stubs on each end, then install bearings or bushings in the tube ends to support the shafts.

The Speedway kits seems reasonably priced. The sum of the parts all the parts purchased separately like the brackets, rotors, calipers, pads., bearings plus all the misc. parts will likely be higher than the kit. Speedway have $20 off on orders over $250.
