Thanks 34ford5w for some of the build parts to make this car live again. This 34 3W dirt tracker will be saved. Came out of Missouri, got from the race driver, now in his 80’s. IMG_7971.JPG IMG_7975.JPG too bad it was in the ditch for so many years. Will try to put a thread together at some point, car is getting built now. IMG_7826.JPG IMG_7825.JPG

This might be the best before picture ever. I can't wait to see this come together. Very cool that the guy was willing to let go of it and you got a bit of history as well. Kinda too bad it sat so long but what a story it'll make.

Yeech, that's pretty gruesome. I generally am not a fan of seeing old customs and rods being un-customized but that is a real horror show, it's already looking better.

Did it ever run/function like that? Probably better if it didn't. Sweet that the trunk gutter was mostly intact. Another great "before" picture.

Here is the current state of the coupe shown in the first post of this thread. Look for the pic of the red coupe body. The doors were taken off to make it easier for my friend John to do the wiring and other jobs. Should be a running and driving hot rod very soon. 100_5148.JPG 100_5147.JPG

I honestly dunno if it ever ran, there were things that were done that made it look like it could have but then there was alot of stuff that made it look like it didnt, the motor had dual secondary carbs, no idle circuits so i dont think that motor ran with the 2x4s, but it had all the brake lines in and seemed ike the brakes worked, and alot of wiring.

Come on guys and gals - any more 33-34 Ford coupe bodies out there waiting to be become hot rods.
    Let's see 'em!

  25. This thread is FULL of 33's and 34's. You might have to be a bit more specific on which 34 you are referring to...

IMG_0934.jpg Here is the POS from post 326 coming together. It's taken years to track down all of the body parts. Floor is now repaired, 2 cowls grafted together, doors pried back into shape and swinging. Now onto roof and 1/4's........
