Out and about today, a beautiful 75 degree day. The barn on what’s left of the farm I grew up on. Barn was built in 1892 an noted in the slate roof.

Well, it is not exactly in FRONT of the place but it is just across the river.
Another angle. The restaurant, hotel, and marina across the river is The Smithfield Station and was built by my neighbor. Great place! Stop by if ever in Smithfield, VA... just a short trip from Colonial Williamsburg.
