Finally got to take my son to see cars. Not expecting much surrounded by kids and wondering if I could make through another Disney Pixar toon movie, I soon found myself in tears at times watching Radiator Springs come back to life and bringing back meaning to life, the past. I was probably the old guy in there and stayed through the credits, which were good. Highly recommend this movie. Not to be a sentimental sap but dam, it was good!

One of these days I’ll actually post progress pics on the 64 Impala that’s coming out real nice. I hope this movie inspired me as much as I think it did. If so the car ill be done soon.

We have some foster kids staying with us for a week so it gave me a good excuse to go see it again, Just as good the second time around!

  6. We saw it Saturday night.....I was blown away... Ornament Vally & "The Cadillac Range" of mountains were awesome....and I was somehow reminded of fellow HAMB'er Willies Place by the lowrider Chevy that changed color almost daily!!

Yea, I was the old fart with tears in his eys too. I grew up in one of those lost on route 66 towns. And now live in Amarillo, one of the towns that still celebrates rte 66. Loved the Cadilac range.. If you liked Doc Holiday (sappy movie with Michael J Fox) you will like this.

  8. Saw it friday night with my daughter (22), and my wife. we all loved it and I'll probably go see it again. My son called me for fathers day and was in San Francisco with friends visiting Guido and Luiggi, the guys the cars were named after. True! Mark

  9. I called into work Friday so I could take the 4 year old Grand daughter. We both liked it, along with my wife. I dig the wide whites on Lighting, Painted wheels, trim rings, and caps. For farthers day I was given Mater for a gift. He's about 1/25 scale. He talks, his eyes move, and he rocks back and fourth. Really cool. Dean

Me and my girlfriend took our kids to see it at the drive-in. The movie was awesome. There is nothing like seeing a movie on the big screen.
