This is the sorta car that transcends "cool" and "bitchin."
BAD (the good kind of bad) is the appropriate term. Its so fucking bad it wants you to DIE! That is some seriously kickass shit...

    [ QUOTE ]
it coughs twice and spits about a gallon of fuel out the pipes onto the nearby cars and spectators.

It's cars like that that inflict us at a young age with this disease we call hot rodding, a real life "hot wheels" car

  4. Gooch ...I like your car better. Everybody thinks the 32 was the best car ford built. I think differently I think the lines on a 33 and 34 are much better. Not to rag on Evilfords car but I never did like 32 grills on 33/34s. Most of the body lines on the 33/34 are laid back and a straight up and down grill doesn't flow with the rest of the car. His car is pure attitude and really isn't about lines so maybe I'm wrong here.

Top5 HAMB car for sure... I love that thing..

    [/ QUOTE ]

top 5? Cop Shop Coupe is the only other Hamb car that touches that thing. I'd say top 2.

I also agree the 34 grille looks better but they're 2 grand! Thanks but my car isnt even on the same planet as that thing. In 1933 and 1934 Henry built his best cars. The lines are pure sex. This early photo shows another Hemi powered car with 32 grille.

Wait, how does he keep that grille from vibrating? In both the video and photos there are no support rods.

By the way its a 33 not a 34. That is a Hilborn hat /Hilborn pump its set up a little differantly because Junior Tompson set it up to run on the street. " I don't know exactly what he did to it but he says it works "

Did he ever get it to idle right? Just curious....it was running waaaaaay fat at the track. It's gonna be neat when he gets all the bugs worked out but that is to be expected.

    Hey Nads,
I saw that you're running an aglia shell on your coupe...what radiator do you use that fits in it? I'm thinking of running an anglia shell on my T sedan, but I didn't think I could fit a radiator in it that would cool a hot stude V8.
    Thanks,
    Jake

It's a Walker for a Deuce. I had to split and pie cut the shell and stretch it over the radiator. It wasn't hard to do, a narrower rad could work without modifying the shell.

    WOW!

I didnt expect any of this. Spent the weekend at the Cincinatti Motorcycle Dealers Show. Metal flake and pinstriping seem to be the hottest trend in bikes right now. Von Dutch Kustom Cycles had their new bike on display. Saw the new 310 rear tire bikes...damn, pretty soon there wont be a need for side stands.

We are going to bring the coupe back to the shop and get it dialed in now. We hope to quiet it down a bit for the street. The front grill/radiator didnt have support on it, but will.
I have a couple pics from the drags I will try to post tomorrow.

SWEET, gotta keep us up on the progress. I myself have always wanted to build a drag bike for the street(probably based around an Iron head), but just haven't had the means.

  26. I have been up close to it, maybe to close. It looks, sounds, and acts scary. Makes moms hold there kids, makes dads grab themselves. [IMG] It works for me!

Jason is also one hell of a guy. He opend up his shop to Hambers to hang around and get dirty while chopping his 50 Ford. That is where I had a chance to see his cool bikes.

I just pray I don't come up against him at the drags, [IMG]
