I picked up a 1934 5 window a few months back that has been sitting since the 60's. It had a custom dash in it that I'm not quite stoked on and I'm looking for either someones old custom dash that they swapped for a original or a good original to keep for the car. Everything I do in the interior I want to do white and chrome so I would like to do a chromed custom dash. thanks the 34.jpg the 34-1.jpg

Nice score on the car. Congrats. Find it in WA. ? My dash started similar to yours, all that was left was the top rail & sides, made a couple of simple bucks, rolled a channel for the bottom pieces. Never be good enough to chrome, but it'll work. Made the bezel too, cop speedo will fill the 5" hole. Usually a dash or two for sale on ebay. Good luck and happy Halloween!

I have most of a 33 dash you could merge into that one for the surfaces around the center and glove box opening.

The body and paint is going to stay the way it is. I've got frame off now. Doing hairpins. Leaving the old dropped axle and re chroming. White powder coated frame. The 49 303 Olds motor has some goodies in it and I plan to freshen it up as put it back in. Olds rear and not sure what for a Trans yet. But everything under the car and in the car will be done and clean. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Just for an idea.........I grafted the bottom of a 34 chevy dash to the top of my 34 ford dash. I never liked the look of a 33-34 ford dash. 34dashpainted.jpg

You certainly brought this thread back from the dead. You are only about 5 years late in the build here. If you only knew what this coupe and it’s owner have been through since this thread was started......
