It sold. Picture attached. Like most of the cars in that collection it was too nice. Real race cars back in the day were rough, not real shiny, and marginal construction especially after a few races. I noticed many over restored race cars with new style decals instead of period correct decals. Makes me wonder how much of these cars were from the original race car and how much is new fabrication.

It was owned and driven by Jimmy DeVault in 1965 and 1966. After that, I don't know.

Check out this site if you are looking to purchase a car that looks like it is right out of the 60's and ready for the drag strip.

Love your car Six Gun. What transmission are you running? How about ET and speed?

  18. This car was for sale...at a real reasonable price ( I think around 12K ) it resides in Australia now and the guy that owns it has put stock suspension under it due to laws over there. He’s also building a killer 63 Fairlane..I’ve always dug the car and it’s got me thinking about tinting my side glass blue.. 76CE573D-F93E-4DA9-A176-75BE0442D04F.jpeg E4488367-CA5C-43A0-AEA1-3042ED4839C1.jpeg

Really? I have no idea how/why. I don't even own a cellphone (no, I'm not kidding).
