    Friends
I laid my hands on this aluminum dream today.
It looks similar to a S.C.O.T Italmecanicca Blower, and its made in Italy.
And marked TV within a ring or a O.
Does anyone have some additional info?? Any info is appriciated.

"It will look nice on my German Flathead. " Get a Japanese carb and you can call the whole thing an "Axis Motor"! :)

Rodder's Journal #29 has the blower article...

I guess I should go look outside, Italian blowers seem to be all over the place lately. There is probably one lying by the neighbors trash can...

Doesn't S.C.O.T. stand for Supercharger COmpany of Turin?? Something like that.
Turin is in Italy...so that may be an early S.C.O.T. blower before they changed the name? Or maybe a later version?

This one came in a cardboard box ;-)

Rodder's Journal does not mention anything about TV, i guess this one may be newer (late fifties or later).

What about some some mikuni carbs for the Axis look.

Did you know that the most common truck in the German wermacht was a german build Ford truck.

The info I've run across says that the Itallian blowers had problems...

Some even say they are junk.

I don't know about all that...

I mean how often do you plan on driving it and under what conditions?

On a mild street flatty, driven only when time and wheather allows, I bet it would last indefinately.

And someone with your obvious ingenuity ought to have a leg up on the average osterich-burying-head-in-sand-in-the-face-of-adversity-hot-rodder...

Yea i guees they are junk, but its nice junk.
My seams to have steel parts at the end's, and it has three lobe rotors.

So i guess its an improved version..

Lycoming aircraft and helicopters use a similar looking supercharger on their T.V.O engine line..... That might be what it came from....
