Hot Rods ‘36 wires on a Winters or 9” diff

So what’s the best way to mount early Ford wires to a 9” or Winters diff? Obviously pickup axles and Lincoln style drums and....

Any help appreciated.

 

I use a 1” thick wheel adapter to run big pattern wheels on a Maverick rear. The wires will fit over the Maverick drums. The wheel support rings would needed.

 

Has anyone adapted early backing plates to a 9" style diff?

 

You could weld these on your axle housings and run early Ford or Lincoln brakes.

Also small correction, the '36 wheels were solid rims with a 5 on 10 1/4 bolt pattern. The last early Ford wires were 1935.
