Damn, I practically live there, but I'll be out of town.

Is this to become a regular thing?

Come either way if you can. I currently dont have mine running either but I will try to make it out to kick some ideas. It's more about setting something up this time around. And we need to SE DFW'rs to represent since the north and west seem to be strong already. If not I'm sure someone will update what has been gone over, here at the hamb.

The address is on the "flyer" image but here it is

    McDonald's
    611 W. Abram St.
    Arlington, Tx

    This is across from UTA.

This is just a get-together for HAMBers to meet and b/s. No registration, no trophies, or any of that ****. Just getting together cuz we wanna. This location is an established Friday night cruise-in location. We just thought is was a good centralized location.

Here is the flyer from the other thread.

And watch out for those endangered low flying Mexican characters in Sombrero's riding in the parking lots.

So can you get differred adjudication for, say just a few, equipment violations?

Seems the TX mounties do not have much of a sense of humor. LOL. Told me to go home. I haven't heard that in about 35 years. I was laughing and he wasn't. I said felt like I was at the neighbors house and it was dinner time and told to go home I said. Not funny according to Officer Lopez.

Maybe I will try to go outside again and play tomorrow. Mom can I go outside?

I was there for about an half hour in my dirty *** Nova and with the leaky pipies.

    53 Heavy was there.

I didn't get to meet to many guys, cause I had to leave at 8:00.

But there was a black Stude that was really nice.
    A 49 Ford truck, with a chopped top. A
lso a 49 Ford panel truck which I encouraged him to check out the HAMB cause he is definatley old school it had a 351 and some great petina.

A mid 30's Internatrional truck that was slamed to the ground with a Hemi.
He was great guy and the truck is very cool.

I also liked the 64 pontiac with the 8 stud wheels.

There was a 50 Chevy I ***ume that was Slide. Some nice french touches on that car I also liked the seats but I didn't know what they were.

The 49 Chevy panel truck was very clean

I didn't want to leave, but I had to cause Mama calls.

If we do this again I would like to see a meet on a Tuesday night isnstead of invading somebody elses car meet,

I talked to some guys and basicallyu have talked my way out of a 6" dropped axle for my 36 truck so I will pursue a 4" drop.

It was cool taking over there car show.

some great cars showed up. fltblk had a sweet studie there. thunder rocket and chandler made it out. I was there with my brother 53 heavy since I dont have mine running yet. Slide was there and those seats were sweet! Two or three other guys were there when we left from HAMB but didnt catch the handles. There was like a little show going on but seemed to be more of a hangin out than a show. Nice to meet some HAMBers though!

more people would had showed up if there had not of been another gathering at the dixie house cafe. the one on the corner of east lancaster and loop 820. i could not attend due to the kid had a sleep-over! if i made a fuss i might had went, but two hours of fun would equal a week end of misery had i pissed momma off.

Had a good time chattin with the HAMBers. As a newbie it was cool to meet face-to-face, see the rides, and be welcomed into the greatness that is the HAMB world:cool:

Was there tonight, but gosh, I really hate McDonalds for good eats. Odd collection of newer and older stuff. Rat rod stuff and a sprinkling of trucks. Lots of blowers to view and big block engines.

My tudor is not anywhere near finished so I did not have a car to bring, but waaay too hot to enjoy tonight. Muggy weather for sure. Hope it does not rain and ruin the Ft. Worth swap this weekend. I hope to attend it tomorrow afternoon. Wife knocked a coke over on herself at the McDonalds. That was a hoot. Worth the effort to see her jump like that. :)

Well, it was a good waste of a Friday night...

Anyone who left before we did missed a trademark FltBlk burnout.
