Until Ryan finally gets fed up of us asking him to make us a board similar to Jocky Journal... and I know the Hamb is 90% pre war hot rodders who don't dig flaked, angel hair laden 60's cars....

    :)

Los Boulevardos CC added one to our website devoted strictly to pre 65 Watsonesque/ Bellflower cruisers. Anyone into these cars is welcome to join. I just got it running properly!

I might differ in the opinion of this board being "pre war". How many post war hot rods and customs have been seen here? Hell the 59 El Camino is the ultimate shop truck here, isn't it? Almost as ultimate as a 34 Ford shop truck...aw fuck that's pre war:D I think Ima go check out yer site. Thanx for da link.

I beg to differ that folks on here aren't into early 60's style rides, flaked roofs, etc. I am, my wagon is, and i've met lots of people here who are into it.

Took a look at this new forum and it looks good. Can't join in though, as the HAMB takes enough of my time, and I actually appreciate being able to see a variety of threads ranging from: Model A Hot Rods, to shoeboxes, to Cadillacs, to early 60's flaked rides.

Good luck w/ your new forum. By the way, your logos, website and cars look great. Cheers to that.

No one said they weren't. He SAID, Ryan won't start a Lowrider Journal.....for reasons known to Ryan and whatever, not enough time, funds, yada yada....so therefore he's given the LowLow's a place to go and be amongst themselves.

    But keep begging.............I think it's kinda funny.:D

Uh, thanks for trying to correct me, but I'll quote exactly what I was referring to: "the Hamb is 90% pre war hot rodders who don't dig flaked, angel hair laden 60's cars." That is the statement that I said wasnt my experience here. That's all.

I love the 60's style and I have two cars that fit the style. So, i'd say we're on the same team :)

    You can still keep beggin............:D

Stinking Canadian. Oh well goes to show that they don't pay attention to Yanks and obviously Yanks don't pay attention to him.:p He's got a point tho. Not too many look at the LowLow I built threads.

  19. I guess I am in the 10% because I like Pre-war hot rods (I own one) but also love 60's low-lows and customs. I actually rarely like 50's cars. so I think there are some of us who dig a board such as this for 60's style.

    Here's the deal.

The H.A.M.B. is for traditional hot rods and customs... Pre-65 basically... And to me that includes some early lowriders... I love the early stuff.

The stat quoted is way off base. If I had to guess, I would say we have more post 55 cars on this forum than pre...

There could be a lowriderjounal.com... maybe... someday... soon... or not... :)
