History Edsel grilles in customs

    Ran across this car in an old Rodding and Re Styling magazine. I believe I saw a white car in the knobs vs. tube grille thread with Edsel grilles on their side similar to this 20191029_155928 (4).jpg 20191029_155928 (3).jpg . Any other examples out there?

    This one, lost in the Barris fire (1957), must be the first.

    Those Studebaker pans are pricier now, I’m too cheap to buy a pair now to make a grille surround, most now seem to be trashed by poor drivers[emoji21]

    Yeah...are those Cougar retractable headlights? And you can see wraparound tail lights coming around the bottom of the rear fender.

    That's actually just "bumperesque" trim that wraps around. Tailights are inline with that trim at bottom of rear panel.

    Dave Stuckey built this nice Forty for Don Moore, back in 1962. Car looks much the same today.
