Hey, Im new to the board and Im loving it so far from what post I have read. I have a question about my 9' Ford rearend and yoke. First if all, here is how my tag reads..

    WBT-BY1
    3.50 4AE 293

I need help with what it come from because my pinion seal leaks from the old seal wearing a groove in it. I will need to find another pinion yoke from a donor, but I dont know what to look for because it was in my truck when I bought it(55 F100). It also has a balancer made in the yoke. If anybody can help me or has one for sale, let me know. Ive been working on this truck for years, and now I cant even enjoy the first summer with it.

Ring and pinions need to be changed in sets ... matched sets.
You cannot sucessfully just put a new pinion ( even the correct type ) in on your old ring and not have problems ...

Factory original 3.50 gear sets for 9 inch Fords are somewhat difficult to find ... just go ahead and buy a new set ... or another center section ... IMHO ...

measure the dia of the yoke seal area and go down to napa and order a speedy sleeve that fits it. its a thin ss sleeve that is driven on for a repair. costs about $28. oder a new seal while your at it

    Found this site http://www.fordification.com/rearends-ford.htm.

Shows this info for that code.
