C&G All Ford Carpenter Drake--when he has the pts advertised Baxters-in Kansas I think have bought 40 pts from all-select vintique items as well
I picked up a 1937 2 door slant back sedan and am looking for what looks like rubber packing inside the windshield and not having much luck. Anyone know anything about this?
Is it the windshield gl*** setting tape or the outer seal that you are looking for? If its the tape,Safelite might have it.The windshield has to come out a taken apart. If outer seal the windshield still needs to come out .
Look to Carpenter for a 37 outer windshield seal, and your local gl*** shop for a roll of setting tape for between the gl*** and frame. I'd recommend using a thin tape to set the gl***, then filling the edge with black urethane from 3M and wiping it smooth, cleaning with turpentine. Will give a watertight seal and look best.
FYI, Joblot has since closed down (2016??), I heard that it was going to open under Gotham Auto, but never heard any more of it. Look what I found, will shoot them a message to see if its the same place. https://www.ebay.com/str/gothamautoparts
