A friend of mine just bought this 32, plus three other cars out of a garage in N Michigan. It's a roller but not too bad. Hope I did this correctly!
Too bad it's all worn out. If your friend would like to donate it to the "Human fund ", I will come get it and give him a receipt for a tax write off...
I know they are still out there, it just seems like every time I hear of an old car and go to check it out it is an 80's **** box that the owners tells me it will be worth a mint someday. I am still a ****er for a rumor and go look the next time. That's just what we do, right?
What a great score! Proof that there is still great metal ( vintage automobiles ) behind locked doors waiting to be discovered!
You’re right , you have to chase the rumors. The one you dismiss, could be the one your looking for. I lost out on one, because I. did not believe a friend who told me about it .
Okay, what's the story? How did he find out about them? How did he work it out that he was able to buy all of them? What were the other three cars? Do you have any pictures of the recovery? Inquiring minds want to know!
Amazing find, congrats to your friend! . That's exactly it. To succeed at finding the rare stuff, you have to follow up on every lead and deal with a pile of disappointments. But persistence pays!
Radiator and grill with shell are they just off to the side. I'll get more info and another picture of a 30 four door, the 31 pickup is gone, I got there too late. The pickup was complete. The forth car I'm not sure about but I'll find out. He plans to make rod, just something he a wife can cruise.
They still are and will be way into the future , this one popped up ...seller is losing storage.........
