I am about to start my first overhaul of 2 Ford 94 carburetors (marked 8BA on the body). Maybe somebody can point me in the right direction where to buy a quality overhaul kit? There seem to be various available, but from past experience with overhauling Rochester 2GC carbs I know the quality of the kits varies considerably. I would like to purchase kits with quality parts that are useable with modern fuels in order not to do the job twice....
I had a friend rebuild mine, but I purchased the kits from NAPA. He said everything was fine with them and came with all the necessary items.
Daytona Parts. I would stay away from Vintage Speed. The last time I dealt with them, I purchased a set of 94 jets. When they arrived, they were different sizes and one was obviously used. I have also had good luck with Mike's Carburetor Service.
Unfortunately we do not have NAPA stores over here... But I just checked and Mike's Carburetor Parts have a good online shop and offer international shipping, so I it seems I found what I was looking for, thanks!
You are right, Carbking has the kits but unfortunately only ships to US and Canada. I will go with Mike's Carburetor Parts...
