My '40 was in R & C back in the late '60's, I think - it was a long time ago. My '41 Olds was in Rodder's Digest, my '33 Buick was in Street Rodder and my '48 Cad convert was in American Rodder.

I have been looking at this picture for 30 minutes and still haven't found your car. I am sure it's there so I will keep looking.

My old truck (batfink) was in a few mags and books. When it was stock with green and white flames and black primer it was in Rod Powells book "how to paint flames" near the back, then it was featured in kustoms by TSR and in the Aussie mag Newsledder, it has a nice half page pic sittin on the salt at bonneville in one of the rodders journals...and lately it was in David Perrys newest pinup book. Man that truck was way more famous than me...all I ever did was 3 episodes of junkyard wars!!!

My 59 was in OSR #16 (Mobtown Greaseball Coverage) on the last day that I owned it.
I know, it's not as pristine as R&C or TRJ etc... but at least it's somethin' :)

Pic of Dave Hartcorn taken the shot that's in the mag.

The 39 got quite a bit of ink and was in a couple movies.
Street Rodder, Rod Action, a really nice spread by Pat Ganahl for the last issue he was with Rod n Custom. The book 50th anniversary of the Grand National Roadster show and the book 50 years of rod and custom.
And of course on the cover of Speed n Chrome.
They used it in the film "gone in 60 seconds" for several scenes and for a micro second in the film "Dogfight" .
The premire issue of Roders Journal had both my 39 and my truck on the table of contents page. That picture has been used for lots of other stuff like calanders and so forth.
The truck has also been in several issues covering Paso.
And the sedan delivery I got from Rich n Penny was in several mags with some how to's in Custom Rodder.

My '66 F150 engine bay made an Australian street rod magazine that did a feature on the inliners site. I think they liked the lack of attention to detail and cleanliness.

My 49 was on the ***le page of "retro Rods"...(Shooting flame throwers)

It was also featured as an example of a car that could be built with little or no money in "Boulevard Nights; Hot Rod Cruising in the USA"...

And the rattle can flames were featured in American Rodder...

  30. On of my favorite things about these old Dodgem car rides was the overhead DC electricals. This provided another "danger" element. There was the sparking and crackle and hum and the ozone smell plus the grease. Did you ever take a look up there? Dead pigeons and mummified corndogs covered in urban moss.
A revolting feast for the senses.

Ya' know.... a bunch of these might provide a partial solution for our countries fuel and transportation problems.
