Banjo wheel resto

    Anyone ever replaced the stainless spokes in a banjo wheel? got a size and supplier?

    Instead of replacing it, I would get the ends back in place and have it TIG welded.. You should be able to grind the weld down and then polish... Then nobody will know....:D

    they all look brittle. what happens if they brake while turning?! Bttt.

    I restore those wheels all the time. I've had to get the chrome bands redone and of course the rims either need repaired or replaced but I've never had one with the spokes messed up like that. The spokes that are cut near the hub look like they were sawed and the ones at the outer end look like somebody tried to cut them with a torch. Tig weld them.
