Just got my rear cross member for my model a from Speedway.. It's the one that's very common. Does anyone have any pics of how to weld in a stock frame? I know I'll have to pinch the frame in, but haven't seen any clear pics of location of where to cut the original frame off in rear.

You shouldn't have to pinch the rear of the frame to make a cross member fit. Maybe it's made to fit a boxed frame.

The rear of frame has to be pinched to 36 inches OD The cross is welded on top of frame. I know this for sure. Just needing a few pics of where the cross is welded in on top. The cross I bought is very common and sold on many sites. It's the same one used in the complete frame that Speedway sells. Thinking someone might have measurements or pics.

In the question and answer page on speedways site it tell you were to cut the notch were the original frame bends outwards and were to weld it.
