Need a Caddy 472/500 measurement

    I know its a weird question but I need to know how long the dipstick and dipstick tube(only from the block up) are on a caddy 472/500 I ***ume they are probably the same.

    Alright either my dipstick is too short (the wife has never complained) or the pan holds more than six quarts. I cut the tube to ten inches and with six quarts including filter it hardly registers. Could someone measure the oil pan depth for me too so I could compare it to mine, I thought mine was stock and am pretty sure its out of a RWD deville.

    they're gonna be different from frt wheel drive (eldo) to rear wheel drive(deville)

    Dipstick tube is 10" long...from just above the pan to the top.

    Ive got 2 caddy 472s one front wheel drive and the other is rear wheel drive both tubes measure the same 10 inches above the block.

    Can anybody give me the length of the dipstick itself, also the depth of a RWD oilpan ? Please
