History 1977 Street Rod Nationals St Paul

I was there too! Actually stumbled on this thread after I stumbled upon all the slides I took there in '77 this afternoon and Googled to see if I could come up with some stuff to jog my memory a bit! I was there as a spectator for the Street Rod Nats and as a participant for the Street Machine eats a coupe weeks later (or was it before?). Hey -- that "video" you're watching was all shot on 8mm film! So that's a digital conversion from film! I've got quite a few slides I need to scan now, LOL.. And this reminded me of the Car Craft Street Machine Nats in Indianapolis in '77 as well. Made it to that one too -- got to drive around the Indy 500 track!

This was a little before my time however, my father was there. He has a board in his garage where he hangs the dash plaques and pins from events he's attended.
