Technical 1949 ford truck part ID help

I bought a 1949 ford truck and it came with this running board, is this for a 49 truck or???

does it fit your truck? I mean, did you set it on the truck and see if it looks like it fits?

 

Frame is being worked on, just going by the LMC truck catalog, this does not look like what they sell

 

yup, it looks more like what it's supposed to look like in real life.

Maybe it will make more sense when you have the rest of the truck back home?
