I got in a little fender bender today in the Camino. A brake line decided to let go as a lady panic stopped in front of me. Caught the corner of my car on the corner of her car and believe it or not the Durango took less damage then the El Camino I'd prefer to take it to someone that appreciates older cars rather then a slap it together body shop. Anyone interested?
Call Willie at Williesplace (He's a HAMB'er) if he can't do it, he will know someone good that can....His shops here in Campbell. 408 377 1002 or 408 460 2611
What caused the line to fail? Was it wearing against something or was it pinched? I just installed a set of Goodridge lines on my car. I like the feel of them but they seem just a hair shorter than the standard ones I took off.
That seemed to be a common problem with them coming up short, hell, even 20 years ago when I sold them in the speed shop I worked in back in England!! Never seen one fail like that tho, were they the 'genuine' article?
