Geez, Corvairs are cool. While I dislike the wire wheels I dig the quarter
panel vent treatment. I wish I'd taken a couple of photos of the '63 I had
in high school in 1967.

All Corvairs are Coolvairs, just some are different that's all.

 

That is one of the coolest 'Vairs so far...

ready for some shakedown miles. If you look hard through the driver's side rear quarter window, you can see the valve covers on the V8 in the back seat

 

I have the panel that goes below tailights on the later model Corvairs, $20.00 plus shipping

 

Looks like the original Irwindale Raceway in SoCal.
The white water tower, the pale yellow timing ticket stand and the emptiness of buildings with the mountains in the background are the giveaways.
