Im trying to find out some info on a couple of 60s and 70s 302s i have. I would also like to read a little bit about a few things. Does anyone know of any good forums? Thanks, Travis
List of Ford block/head codes http://www.cehighperformance.com/ford_block_car_codes.htm#302 Back-up info http://www.jason.fletcher.net/default.htm Should help.
ford engines on a budget is a decent book for general knowledge, ford trucks.com has good forums, and so does ford truck world i guess., but ask here, not much i dont know about them or or somebody else wouldnt be able to cover. i done a few trick things to small blocks in the past myself with interchange-ability. lance
www.fordmuscle.com isnt what it used to be. Alot of the good technical guys have left but if you can get in touch with n20mike on there, he knows his stuff. Another place that seems to have alot of guys that should be able to help you is www.mustangsandmore.com. The guys name who runs a 67 or 68 Mustang that pretty much wins his class every year, is Alex. They were always pretty friendly people over there.
I just found and joined www.sbftech.com after perusing www.fordmuscle.com. You may want to check it out.
You can also catch Mike along with the rest of the best ex-FM gang (including me) at: http://www.cooksrestorations.com/cooks_garage.htm Click the Forum link. It's a Network54 Forum, so if you're already a member, you're all set. One thing..... these guys are pretty cool and enjoy helping anyone but they don't dig on arguments, politics or outright ignorant acting members. That's why they left FM. I know most of them personally because I hang with them at Woodward and they very are good dudes..or dudettes in my case...
