June 30-July 2: Pacific Northwest Historics vintage races at Pacific Raceways. www.sovren.org This year's featured car is Allard. There's usually some V8 specials running with the Jags and Ferraris and Lola Can-Am cars, GT40s, Trans Am Mustangs and Camaros, etc. Bring a raincoat AND sunscreen, its the Fourth of July weekend after all.
Rolf,if you can make it to the Historic's do! It is awesome.And they race the cars! Some of the antique (1920-30's) stuff is so cool to hear and see. I was there one year with Bruce,Folmer fired up a bigblock Can AM car,straight headers,everyone backed up except for me and Bruce,it was music! Then later sew him spin out at 100 in the back turns..wow.
2006 Westport Car Show and Shine Just a bit about our little car show here in Westport, WA. on the 29th and 30th of July. There is a $10. per day entry and Trophies will be p***ed out at noon on Sunday. Bring your tent or camper and spend the night (NO CHARGE) Two blocks from the beach. (Pacific Ocean). Parking will be on the gr***. "Wolfman the DJ" will be spinning oldies. “Cruizn” magazine will be here doing a spread and taking lots of photos. It will be a good chance to get your car in a magazine. There will be vendors for food, There will also be the typical vendors of small stuff. We are located at Bonge Plaza, 3884 Hiway 105, right next to Twin Harbors State Park. Pickups, Cl***ic, Custom, Kustom, Street Rod, and Hot Rods are welcome, No Rice Burners. Bring your Friends or send them if you can't come. There will be a “Chop Top” demonstration for both days. The chop will also be posted on the “Jalopy Journal” (H.A.M.B.). “John Kelly” will be here on Saturday to demonstrate the “English Wheel” and “Shrink Disk”. We are hoping to have a Gl*** Pro here to demonstrate “Cutting Safety Gl***”. We will also have a demonstration showing the proper technique for “Cutting and Buffing Paint”, and the Westport Fire Department will show how they extricate victims of a car accident with the “Jaws of Life”. The Poker Run will be Saturday afternoon.
This coming Saturday is the first ever carshow at the PINECONE RESTURANT and LOUNGE. Thats across the street from Lynnwood cyclebarn. Just north of 196th on HWY 99 in Lynnwood. Cant tell You much about it but they serve Drinks at 6:00 AM for You over achievers.GOOD ******marys. Me and FEDSLED are gonna go check it out. FEDER
