SOLD My friend Jim Shelton (current care taker of the famed Gray Baskerville roadster) is selling his extremely original, extremely nice 1940 Ford Deluxe Tudor sedan. The car has just over 68,000 original miles and wears its original paint and interior. Very very dry car with no body rust or rot found. The car runs, drives and stops excellent and everything electrical works (except radio) thanks to a new correct cloth wiring harness. The original Flathead V8 fires instantly and runs smooth. Transmission shifts good and the car goes down the road as well as it did 79 years ago. Someone at some point put an original Ford axle that had been dropped in it to give it some rake, and the car has 5.00/5.25 and 7.00 16 Firestone’s on it. The 40 is located in Las Vegas NV, where Jim lives and it is ***led in his name. Jim has owned the car roughly a decade and he thinks the car should go to a good home where it is driven a lot more frequently then he drives it.
